Welcome to GUY CODE, the official blog of MTV2's "Guy Code" series and your online destination for all things dude, including—but not limited to—irreverent commentary on sports, hip-hop and ladies. Stay awhile and flex your manhood.

d.lemon

Our boy Damien Lemon is starring in a new web series called "D.Lemon in the Morning." He plays a morning radio DJ, who coincidentally has the same name. His show is ranked fourth in the city and it could get to number one, but Lemon is going to have a tough time making that happen with two co-hosts who might land them all in jail and listeners who might also land his ass in jail. The first episode is funny as hell and we look forward to watching more.

We don't know much about Dutch dance and electro house music, but after watching this video, we're going start studying up. THUMP, the new electronic music and culture channel from VICE, has just released a new video of Melanie Iglesias seduced by a raver's glowing fingers as the Dutch electro house banger "Buzzcut" from the DJ duo Bingo Players plays in the background. There really aren't words for it, other than an open-mouthed, "Wow."

chris and carly

"Guy Code" fans know that Chris Distefano is funny...and his girlfriend, Carly Aquilino from "Girl Code" may be just as good. We already brought you the story of how they met (and Chris's confession that he's the little spoon while cuddling), and now they're laying down the law on "Dating Code." Watch the video below for their takes on how soon each partner should reply to a text, who pays for dinner and acceptable fart volume. Hey, all couples will gross you out, but at least this one will make you laugh too.

"Game of Thrones" geeks like Jon Gabrus have been eagerly anticipating last night's episode. Brienne of Tarth has to battle a grizzly bear with a wooden sword while wearing clothing that's completely foreign to her, a pink dress. Truthfully, Gabrus wasn't as excited for the fight as much as he was for more Brienne. He just can't help but be attracted to that bear of a woman.

The photo above is a great hint towards this week's Most Guy Code Moment. No, Gabrus doesn't award the bear the honor. Watch the video below for the full explanation. Plus, Gabrus even gives us the bonus of naming the Least Guy Code Moment as well.

battle of the nations

A thousand years ago, if men wanted to settle a dispute, they put on suits of armor, grabbed their swords and fought to the death. (If one man looked at another man's horse the wrong way, they also fought to the death.) Those were nasty, violent times, and now we're more civilized.

However, the manly art of sword-fighting has been revived--safely--with Battle of the Nations, a medieval-themed competition between groups of the bravest guys from 22 different countries. Each dude wears a full suit of armor and carries a blunted sword to inflict pain without cutting his opponent. A competitor is considered "dead" when three body parts touch the ground simultaneously.

This might be the greatest idea for a tournament ever, and it's happening again this weekend. The U.S. joined last year and came in fourth, but maybe this year we'll unseat reigning champion Russia. Whichever team you root for, here are some videos that show why you need to get into this sport.

"Game of Thrones" geeks and perverts alike were intrigued by last week's episode. Jon Snow and his sexy Wildling redhead, Ygritte, found the only warm water north of The Wall and took a very sexy bath. In the process, Snow broke his Night's Watch vows and established himself as a man who really enjoys "eating lunch." Why are we discussing about last week when we're supposed to be talking about this week's Most Guy Code Moment? Well, watch a tank-top-clad Jon Gabrus in the video below and he'll explain.

For most of us, a shotgun held to our face would be a strong incentive to hand over a wallet or phone...but most of us aren't the insanely brave guy in the below surveillance video, who snatched away his robber's firearm and chased after the suspect.

According to police, the suspect got into his car and asked for the gun back in exchange for the victim's phone. The victim (well, maybe "victim" is the wrong here) didn't think that was a good deal, so he bashed in the suspect's back windshield with the shotgun.

Considering what could've happened, this video is kind of terrifying. We doubt we'd have the courage or the reflexes to pull off those Jason Bourne moves. We assume most of the video's million-plus views are from the dude showing it to his friends or girls at bars.

Police in New Orleans are looking for information. So if anyone in the Big Easy knows a guy who used to have a shotgun and a rear windshield, please contact the authorities.

Tarth

"Game of Thrones" geeks like us and Jon Gabrus were really stoked on last week's episode. While this week's installment, entitled "Kissed By Fire," is great as well, it left us wanting more...more of what exactly? Well, you'll have to watch Gabrus's video below for that. He gives a short recap of this week's episode with the Most Guy Code Moment as the kicker.

Sometimes it can be tough for guys to know if they're coming off as creepy or charming. He might have the best of intentions, but the girl just reads the situation as, "DANGER! DANGER!" For example, a guy might watch the movie "Love & Sex" and decide to hire a little person with bongos to serenade his attractive coworker. If the coworker doesn't know where the gesture is coming from, she'll get creeped out and the office will become a very awkward place.

As a way to help out our male readers, we decided to have Jamie Lee from "Girl Code" play a little game called "Creepy Or Charming." We present her with a variety of situations and she tells if it seems like the guy is being cool or a clown.

There are plenty of hot bartenders out there, and they get even hotter with each beer they serve you. But it's a rookie mistake to start complimenting their bodies, as if they've never heard it before. Just take it from Jessimae Peluso, who "bartended for years" and knows that being a creeper is "not gonna get you free drinks," merely kicked out.

Check out this web-exclusive video, which explains how to actually make your female bartender like you, and then watch Jessimae on "Girl Code" at 10:30/9:30c on MTV.
