If you have a steady girlfriend, inviting her to prom is easy, but if you're single, inviting a girl is scary as hell. The risk of rejection is so high--she can only choose one guy from the whole school, and you're asking to be him.

Fortunately, "Guy Code" is here to give you some tips on what to say and when to say it. Play the clip below, and then watch the full episode tonight at 11/10c on MTV2.

#AskGuyCode tonight on Twitter from 10:30-10:55 EST. It's your chance to ask Chris Distefano about which antiperspirant brand is the most dependable. But really, ask him about the new "Guy Code" episode topics: Prom, Taking A Break, Going to the Game and Moving Back In...especially Moving Back In, 'cause tonight he admits to living with his mom, who still does his laundry. (Those pit stains must take a few washes.)

Sometimes you fall on hard times, and you don't want the government to help you. (The government doesn't want to help you either.) So you look to Mom and Dad for free rent and free, albeit uncomfortable, meals. Problem is, your boys will laugh at your misfortune and no girl will respect you. Here's some fake excuses to save face.

1. Your folks are hosting a couple hot French college students...in your old bedroom.

2. Your dad is, like, the best home beer brewer in the western hemisphere.

3. They have cable and you're tired of pirating Knicks games.

Prom is one of the most memorable nights of your life. (The main thing you remember: desperately trying to make it to third base.) But if you forget everything that happened because you partied too hard, there are photographs to remind you. Here's a look at the many ways your prom pics can go wrong...and what they say about you as a guy.

Sometimes your girlfriend wants to date other guys, but she won't outright dump you--she just wants to "take a break," whatever the hell that means. As Jon Gabrus puts it, "Don't fool yourself...if she does come back, she's been ruined." Play this advance "Guy Code" clip below, and then watch the full episode tonight at 11/10c on MTV2.

Sure, moving back in with your parents is embarrassing, but that doesn't mean it has to be terrible. There are plenty of great things about being an adult (sort of) and still living with your mother and father.

1. Not Paying Bills

Free cable, free electricity, free food, free rent...it's basically an all-inclusive resort. Of course, part of this inclusiveness is that Dad gets to pick what's actually on the cable he's paying for. Better learn to enjoy "Bones."

2. Living In A Giant House

Your parents worked hard so they could afford a nice big home in the suburbs. And you're glad they did, 'cause their storage shed is larger than the crappy studio apartment you had in that hip city you can no longer afford.

The motivated kids in your senior class have organized the prom. Your job is to show up in a tux and dance to all the songs you love hearing at convenience stores. Then you take a limo somewhere afterward and get to be crazy for a few hours before you fall asleep on top of three other people. It's a great time, and if you're lucky, you have a date who wants to get frisky at some point. But there's plenty of ways to mess it all up...

1. Being A Dick To The Limo Driver

Nobody wants to deal with teenagers' bulls**t 'til 5 a.m., no matter how much it pays. Don't mess with him, heckle him or pretend to be his friend. Your date won't be impressed. Besides, why are you talking to the limo driver instead of her?

2. Dancing Like A White Boy

The more you try to dance like Prince, the more you'll look like Seth Rogen. The safe bet is to dance the way you think Rick Ross would dance--just stand there, leaning back a little when your date bends down, and put your hands in the air at a 45-degree angle.

Hats off to fans who brings signs to the stadium. We personally enjoy holding beer and/or hotdogs at the game, but these heroes of free speech forgo those pleasures to entertain the rest of us. Here's a comprehensive taxonomy of signs you'll find at the ballpark, ice rink or wherever else players earn substantial sums of money.

Watching sports on TV just isn't the same as being in the stadium. First off, the players look waaay larger in person. Secondly, you can heckle 'em if you don't like 'em.

In this advance clip, the "Guy Code" cast teaches you how to mess with the other team's heads. Study these techniques for the next time you sneak down to the good seats, and then watch the full episode Tuesday at 11/10c on MTV2.

jermaine fowler real world

Cancel your weekend plans, 'cause MTV is airing a "Real World" marathon to prepare for next week's premiere of "Real World: Portland." Those old episodes are classics, so we asked "Guy Code" cast members Chris Distefano and Jermaine Fowler to discuss their favorite seasons, and Andrew Schulz to wax poetic on the show's appeal. This is what happens when comedians stop being polite, and start being...nah, they were never polite.
