About Us

Welcome to GUY CODE, the official blog of MTV2's "Guy Code" series and your online destination for all things dude, including—but not limited to—irreverent commentary on sports, hip-hop and ladies. Stay awhile and flex your manhood.

Most of the talk about tattoos and college football the past few months has centered on the Ohio State player-tattoo scandal that cost them former head coach Jim Tressel. It's time to change that.

College football boasts some of the greatest traditions in all of sports, and its fans are second to none. Cities shut down and schools cancel classes so students can prepare for game day. So it's no surprise that college football die-hards have gotten inked out with their school colors. Click on for some great tattoos of the top ten teams in the current BCS rankings.

Though the St. Louis Cardinals are significant underdogs to win the World Series against the Texas Rangers, Cards fans' tattoos are vastly superior to those of their American League adversary. It's not even a contest. Of course the Cardinals have the advantage of a rich, successful history dating over 100 years and immensely talented former stars like Stan "the Man" Musial to immortalize on biceps (above). But that's a credit to the franchise. Consider this collection of Cardinals tattoos a tip of the hat to its fans. As for how the team managed to go from 8.5 games out of the Wild Card berth to the World Series (beginning tonight) in the first place...that's beyond our comprehension. If you're a Texas Rangers fan and would like to show us your ink, send us a tweet @MTVClutch.

Alert the "South Park" army! There is a mid-season premier that you don't to want to miss. As usually do, Cartman and gang will be taking on the serious issues affecting our society, like Ass Burgers.

To celebrate the show's return, we've scoured the Internet and found eight of the best tattoos of Eric Theodore Cartman. While we'd never permanently ink our favorite fat-ass on our fat asses, we highly respect those who do. See the gallery of Cartman tattoos below and be sure to watch the brand new episode Wednesday, October 5th at 10/9c on Comedy Central!

The English metalcore band Asking Alexandria has built an particularly zealous fan base through relentless touring over the past three years. Their sophomore release, 2011's Reckless & Relentless, reached number nine on the Billboard 200 and got them their American TV debut on "Jimmy Kimmel Live." While still a relatively young band, they have already racked up more hard knocks and rock star stories than we'll ever have. The band's lead guitarist Ben Bruce was nice enough to share a few tales of booze, boobs, Bon Jovi and Big Macs. Thank the rock gods there are still bands like these blokes.

It was so much fun haunting your dreams last time, we're back with another batch of highly disturbing but SFW tattoos. We think this troubling bunch is even slightly more disturbing than the last. Especially if you're afraid of clowns. And trolls. And spiders.

Remember, we touched the border of "Not Safe For Work," but the items in this gallery do fall on the side of SFW. Barely though, and not without sacrifice. We had to cut one man's horrifying tattoo where he used his most private organ to depict Pinocchio's distinctive feature. You can find that one with some Googling if you like. Consider this MTV Clutch's Halloween present to your eyes, about one month early.

Tattoos are about self-expression and it just so happens that many women like to express themselves directly underneath their breasts. What better place to tell someone, "I dream about being with you forever," than below a breast? There's no way that could be misunderstood. Plus, babies can't read.

Earlier this week, Clutch explored the "inside-boob" celebrity fashion trend, and today, on Tattoo Thursday, we urge you to turn your eyes to another trend: underboob tattoos.

What disturbs you may not disturb us but we can all agree that there's something . . . wrong with each of the barely SFW images below. If a photo or in this case tattoo makes you wish you didn't eat lunch, then it can safely be described as disturbing. But not all the highly disturbing but SFW tattoos are stomach turning: a few of them make us think the people who got inked were either drunk or otherwise altered at the time. Either that, or they have a very sick sense of humor and don't mind using their bodies as a canvas for a joke that's probably only funny once or twice. Nevertheless, these tattoos make for excellent gallery material. Get ready to be disturbed, but in a totally safe-for-work way.

The kind of people who would spend a weekend in the garage fine-tuning an older model car are the folks you'll see in this collection of low rider tattoos. The dude above? That's dedication. There's some more nice ink in this gallery atop a bunch of biceps and some real American beer bellies.

From Sugar Hill Gang's Lincoln Continental mention to the 1964 Chevy Impala in Dr. Dre's "Let Me Ride" video, low riders have been prominent in hip-hop too. Check out the people who love low riders so much they got them tatted on. Read More...

How did this photo gallery of Chris Bosh getting a woman eating a skull inked on his back fly under the radar for so long? Well, it went up during last season, when most people were trying to forget about the third wheel of Miami Heat's Thrice. Bosh has been maligned for his tender playing style. Although he's a 6-foot-11 power forward, the Dallas native refuses to really get in the paint and bang bodies--something the Heat really could have used against the Mavericks during The Finals. While his teammates LeBron James and Dwyane Wade are frequent flyers in South Beach's rowdy club scene, Bosh is more of a bookworm and wine snob. That's exactly why we never expected to see a tattoo like this under his jersey. The Coliseum, tree, eagle and tiger with music notes ink-jobs all seem to fit what we know of Bosh's personality. However, the cute woman about to gnaw on a human skull tattoo is a truly delightful surprise. That has to rank up there with DeShawn Stevenson's Abraham Lincoln tattoo as some of the NBA's best. Click for a better look. Read More...
