Signal Snowboards is unlike other snowboard companies. They're "all about having fun." OK, most snowboarding companies are "all about having fun," but Signal is actually walking the walk and videotaping it for their web series "Every Third Thursday." To kick off the first episode of the second season, the guys decided to combine two of the 20th century's greatest inventions: snowboards and paintball guns. The first half of this video is about them turning paintball gun-mounted snowboards into a reality. It may be a little slow for the technologically uninterested, but once they get those puppies on the slopes, it's really fun to watch. And after all, it is "all about having fun."

The birthdays of Wilt Chamberlain and Bill Clinton, two of the greatest womanizers in American history, are only two days apart: Aug. 19 and 21. George Washington and Abraham Lincoln, two of the greatest presidents in American history, have birthdays 10 days apart. We celebrate it as President's Day, the third Monday of every February. There should be a similar observance for the achievements of Chamberlain and Clinton, two great men who embraced their testosterone and pushed the limits of mankind's virility. Yes, Congress impeached Clinton for a BJ and "In Living Color" mocked Chamberlain's claim of being with 20,000 women. However, behind every great man is a great mistake. We need a national holiday of forgiveness, sex and unabashed machismo celebration to replenish our confidence as men. It shall be called Philanderer's Day (not to be confused with "Whacking Day") and be observed on the fourth Monday of each August in the following manner. Read More...

My first Portland Timbers game at Jeld-Wen Field ranks as one of the best times I've had at a live sporting event. It wasn't even a playoff match. The difference was Portland's fan base--a passionate group of hipsters called the Timbers Army. They packed the stands and made the match against the L.A. Galaxy (the Miami Heat of MLS) a truly awesome experience.

Readers from Portland are now composing a vitriolic comment and probably won't read much further. No one likes to be called a hipster, especially really hip people like Portlanders. And I know hipster jokes have reached critical mass and the word itself is a punch line. However, I use the word with love. "Hipsters" tend to be especially passionate about their non-mainstream loves. Usually their laser focus sets on local bands, obscure film genres, vintage clothing stores, cheap canned beer and Chuck Klosterman books, but in Portland's case it's also the Timbers.

Major League Soccer is in a dogfight for fans. The league has come a long way since its resurgence in 2007. It now has the sixth highest average attendance among U.S. and Canadian professional sports leagues. They still rank behind the Canadian Football League, but ahead of Major League Lacrosse, Arena Football and the WNBA. Huzzah! Unlike those sports though, MLS players are not world class. Manchester United has smoked MLS's All Stars the last two years. So the MLS is a tough sell to Americans who are accustomed to its pro leagues being the best of the best. Winners of the Super Bowl, NBA Finals, World Series and Stanley Cup are "world champions." Call it pride, ignorance or xenophobia, most Americans tend to avoid sports we don't dominate. So how does Major League Soccer become mainstream? They don't. And that's perfect for hipster fans wanting to throw their support behind an under-the-radar league their parents don't understand. Here are some hat tips for the MLS and areas where it can improve the fan experience for hipsters and beyond. Read More...

When it comes to baseball, chicks dig the long ball, adrenaline junkies get off on triples, and I love arguments. Watching players and managers get in the fat, stupid faces of umpires, showering spittle and vulgarities on them like they are R. Lee Ermey, is a pure joy. That's why I'm always paying attention to how players react to calls they don't like. Is he going to blow up, or sulk away like a sad cat? Does he actually disagree with the call, or is he just being an a**hole? These are questions that can be answered by looking at how a player responds in the milliseconds following a call he hates. So that's what I did. Read More...

Every year around this time, snowboarding companies release their latest gear for public consumption. For some it's as exciting as the first snow. Riders geek out over which new goggles, outerwear, inner wear, gloves, caps, boards, bindings and boots they totally need to buy, no matter how high the balance on their credit cards. It's the same as when gamers sleep outside of GameStop the day before "Halo" preorders begin, or when Apple fanboys postpone their weddings till after the Macworld convention (true story). You know how addiction goes.

Because it had to be done, someone has finally connected these fanatical groups by a common thread. That someone is "us" and that thread is "cool stuff." Here are the five best action-sports products with enough built-in technology to impress those nerds out in Silicon Valley. Read More...

Watching skaters magnificently crash is something even non-skateboarding fans can appreciate. It's like not being able to look away from the aftermath of a car crash. Viewing these same falls when shot with a high-end camera, in slow motion and set to gentle trance music is a completely new experience. At first, it makes you tighten your jaw more because it's so easy to feel the harsh impact these dudes' bodies are taking. The shock ripples through their limbs like a wave. After that wears off, you become completely entranced by this video show with a Redlake N3 high-speed camera. The slow-motion falls and music are so rhythmically edited together that it becomes an extreme-sports ballet of sorts. Video technology leaps are definitely changing the way we appreciate skateboarding and other action sports.

When Clutch Gauntlet host Andy Green set out to battle post-grunge band Pop Evil in a hot dog eating contest, he didn't expect to be so damn sad. Unfortunately, Andy's girlfriend broke up with him during the interview. Andy carried on with it anyways, but as you can see from his pathetically sad, on-the-verge-of-tears face, it was an emotional struggle.

Also obvious from the photo is Pop Evil's total lack of sympathy for Andy. After initially consoling him, the bandmates flipped the dial to Joey Chestnut level and chowed down. Either Pop Evil hadn't eaten in a few days or they really wanted to destroy Andy. But did our host bury his sorrows by matching them dog-for-dog? Frankfurters aren't exactly a comfort food, but Andy's not exactly a traditional dude. Check the video for the Gauntlet.

There's this thing happening Sunday night called SummerSlam. It will involve lots of burly, oiled-up, half-naked men grappling in front of thousands of people. Obviously, you're planning to watch. We are too. In addition to watching, we're planning to tweet about it. You should too. Just imagine, you'll be watching at your house with some guacamole, we'll be watching ringside--because that's how we ball--and we'll be able to crack bad jokes to one another over Twitter. It's the next best thing to having real friends, which, let's face it, is pretty much out of the question for anyone who watches wrestling.

Watch our live coverage of WWE SummerSlam 2011, right here Sunday, Aug. 14, starting at 8 p.m. EST! Join the conversation by tweeting your comments @MTVClutch.

Would you believe us if we told you that Amir Sadollah never had a professional MMA fight before he won Season 7 of "The Ultimate Fighter"? That’s kind of like some guy off the street smacking a home run into the upper deck against Justin Verlander in his first at bat despite having no major league baseball experience. Well, that's exactly what Amir Sadollah did when he entered the TUF house back in 2008. With nothing but an amateur career and some lethal limbs attached to his 5-foot-11 frame, Sadollah polished off each opponent in his way and kept all of his fights out of the hands of the judges. Pretty damn impressive.

But a rash of injuries would slow down the A-Train, and the rising star was brought back down to earth with losses to Johnny Hendricks and Dong Hyun Kim. But a rousing victory over DaMarques Johnson at UFC Fight Night: Nogueira vs. Davis has people talking about Amir Sadollah again. At UFC Live: Hardy vs. Lytle, the Persian will face Duane "Bang" Ludwig in a fight that is sure to have fireworks. Read More...
