'Tis the season for "Wrestlemania." Some wrestlers get an amazing match for their gift while others get a big fat lump of coal. Over the past week, some wrestlers found out that all the good matches were taken and got stuck with lousy matchups. Oh well, it happens. Meanwhile, we saw the return of Dr. Thugonomics and some wrestling gear gone totally wrong as we recap the past week in the wonderful world of professional wrestling.

For weeks we tore a hole into the abomination known as the Kane-John Cena angle. It was wretched, corny and lacked any rhyme or reason. To make matters worse, the WWE pulled the okeydoke on fans when the big payoff at the "Elimination Chamber" pay-per-view was Cena not embracing the hate, but instead winning clean. Hear that sound? We're snoring. It was an absolutely useless angle that did nothing for anybody involved. However, it wasn't the worst. We decided to dig into the pro wrestling vaults and remind you of the absolute worst story lines in the history of pro wrestling and good God are these bad.

On Feb. 19, WWE champion CM Punk started a Twitter battle (Twattle) with Chris Brown when he tweeted: "I would like @chrisbrown (to) fight somebody that can defend themselves. Me curb stomping that turd would be a #wrestlemania moment."

In a tweet (which has since been deleted), Brown wrote this:

"@CMpunk needs more followers. He’s such a leader! not to mention the roids he’s on has made it utterly impossible for him (to) pleasure a woman."

Unbeknownst to Brown, Punk is a proud member of the Straight Edge lifestyle and doesn't use alcohol nor drugs and definitely not steroids. Punk has "STRAIGHT EDGE" tattooed on his stomach and "DRUG" and "FREE" inked on his knuckles.

Brown continued..."@CMpunk contact my assistant and I'll have em send u an autographed pic for my biggest FAN!!!"

If you watched WWE's "Elimination Chamber" pay-per-view this past Sunday, you're upset that you wasted your time on that bowl of doo-doo and would have rather spent your money at a run-down strip club that reeks of cigarettes and sweat instead. That's why this week's Wrestling Rehash column has been affectionately coined "The Elimination Shame-ber." Yes, there was some good this week from John Cena (shocker!) and some ugly that resulted in one of the top stars getting injured for no damn reason, but the WWE's PPV gets top billing simply because of how pointless it ended up being.

On the eve of WWE's Elimination Chamber pay per view, the WWE had one of the more awkward weeks in recent memory. Aside from the awesome exchange between Shawn Michaels and Triple H, Raw this week was a total head scratcher. There was some weird debate leading up to the Elimination Chamber match for CM Punk's WWE title, a bunch of ho-hum matches and poor Zack "I'm A Crash Test Dummy" Ryder getting beat up (again). But that wasn't the worst of the worst. Rather than John Cena embracing the hate, he embraced something else. Read on...

The good ol' gravy train to "Wrestlemania" is picking up steam and after that craptastic "Royal Rumble," the past two weeks of "Raw" and "Smackdown" have helped us regain some faith in the WWE. This week was all types of interesting as we finally got some friggin' answers regarding Chris Jericho's promos. However, the meandering snooze-inducing Kane-John Cena rivalry continues to bend our brains backward. Then there's that little thing about WWE Diva Natalya farting...

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has a busy 2012 ahead of him. He already has "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island" getting ready to hit theaters along with his turn as Roadblock in the upcoming "G.I. Joe" sequel. But for wrestling fans, we are ecstatic to know that on April 1 he will square off with John Cena in an epic showdown at "Wrestlemania XXVIII." Woo-hoo!

In mtvU's new series "5 Questions With...," The Rock is featured in the first episode. In the conversation, Johnson even teaches us how to do the pec pop of love. Inspired by the show, we decided to reflect on The Rock's greatest in-ring moments. Cue sense of nostalgia for "The People's Champ."

This past weekend officially kicked off "The Road to Wrestlemania" with the "Royal Rumble" pay-per-view. Too bad that the show stunk. Thank God the following night on "RAW" made up for everything (except the money you lost) with an exceptional show that was probably the best in months. Let's reflect on the return of The Deadman, the lameness of this Kane/John Cena fiasco and the failures of 2012's "Royal Rumble."

David Otunga is a man of many hats. You may know him as Punk from VH1's "I Love New York." Don't know him from there? OK, how about as Jennifer Hudson's fiancé? No? How about as the WWE Superstar who often supports wretched interim "Raw" general manager John Laurinaitis as his legal counsel? Ah, that should ring a bell.

But wait, did you know that his whole schtick as legal counsel isn't farfetched? Actually, Otunga is a Harvard Law School graduate who spends his downtime as an attorney. Even better, Otunga recently took a break from body-slamming fools in the ring to lay the smackdown in the courtroom.

Otunga hit the courtroom on Thursday to represent a man in his appeal against the NY State Department of Labor. The man, who we wonder exactly what made him decide to contact a pro wrestler to defend him, feels that he was wrongfully terminated by his former employer and denied unemployment benefits. Otunga took the case pro bono just to keep his legal skills sharp--he may have to use them against the McMahon empire one day.

The road to "Wrestlemania" officially begins this Sunday at the "Royal Rumble," but that doesn't mean anyone mailed it in on last night's "Raw." The final show before bodies really start flying over the top rope still had its fair share of memorable good, bad and ugly moments. Let's revisit the performances, analyze Chris Jericho's cryptic statement, the burying of poor Zack Ryder and the amazing facial expressions of John Cena.
