About Us

Welcome to GUY CODE, the official blog of MTV2's "Guy Code" series and your online destination for all things dude, including—but not limited to—irreverent commentary on sports, hip-hop and ladies. Stay awhile and flex your manhood.

Cosmo's editors made our work easy today by naming their August edition "The Hot Issue."

After leafing though a couple hundred pages we found the hotness in a spread called "Steal The Show" (which also inexplicably features Jersey Shore's Pauly D and The Situation lifting weights on the beach). Exhibit A, at right, is only one shot of the gorgeous model featured in the spread. Check out another one below, along with a completely gratuitous shot of The Situation's abs.

Sometimes you flip through women's magazines at the newsstand (well, we do), and a photo makes your jaw drop. These are two of those photos.

In the first, pop princess Rihanna is stripped down to her underwear showing off some serious rocks. And in the second, she's put on her coat made of fur and her shoes made of what looks to be small parts of The Addams Family member Cousin Itt.

Check out the full shots below.

Welcome to "Only the Hot Parts," in which we find the sexy in everything.

It seems that the strategy behind the August issues of lady mags is to photograph hot women in fall clothing with a cheesy premise involving the outdoors.

Yesterday we saw Glamour's cavewoman spread and today we've got Marie Claire's nonsensical "Call Of The Wild" version, which advises women to explore their "primal urges." Fortunately, that means wearing skimpy clothes and straddling trees in the forest.

Check out more "fashion" inspired by primal urges on the next page.

In Glamour's August 2010 issue there's some goofy feature called "The Cavewoman's Guide to Good Health." But more importantly, there are three pictures of a smoking hot "cavewoman" wearing nothing but a few small pieces of strategically placed leather.

We can't accept that cavewomen were ever this hot, because that would have left no need to evolve (assuming the goal of evolution is to become more attractive). Check out two full-size shots below.

Welcome to "Only the Hot Parts," in which we find the sexy in everything.

Seven months after giving birth to her son Benjamin, Gisele has her pre-baby body back in perfect order. Her secret? "I did kung fu up until three weeks before Benjamin was born," she says. We had no idea women did this but now we're going to have to watch out for 8-months-pregnant ninjas. Just another thing to worry about.

The photo, which comes from last week's Life & Style magazine, really makes us want to go on a picnic. We can't figure it out.

Allure is the self-proclaimed "Beauty Expert" of the magazine aisle. But when women's magazines talk about "beauty," they're really talking about the zillions of products women dump their paychecks on to try to look good for you, not Sports Illustrated models in sneaky-hot swimwear.

So imagine our surprise at finding a nine-page spread called "Flesh Points" in the July issue featuring Israeli model and Leonardo DiCaprio ladyfriend Bar Refaeli sporting "dresses that open and buttons that pop." Oh dear. We wouldn't mind seeing a few more of Bar's "flesh points," but we'll take what we can get.

Click below for another picture of Bar looking mar-velous.

The July issue of InStyle is full of clothes, makeup and a bunch of other stuff you don't care about. Then there's this picture of Cameron Diaz (p. 176), showing off her long legs in some sort of half-finished mummy wrap. Somehow, she's still got it.
