macklemore good ass night

Hip-hop duo Macklemore and Ryan Lewis will appear on "Saturday Night Live" this weekend, but we beat "SNL" to the punch with this pretty damn funny Good Ass Night. See, for most guys, the perfect evening involves going outside. Not Macklemore, who just wants to watch Netflix and snuggle up with his lady. And, uh, eat tacos? We'll let him take it from here...

GuyCode_UnleashYourManhood_Sample

MTV Books recently published the first "Guy Code" e-book, "Unleash Your Manhood." It's the account of one dude's journey from pathetic loser to awesome winner after he discovers the Code and its lessons on manscaping, fighting, sexting, the Friend Zone and more.

It's now available on the iBookstore for $4.99, but we wanted to give you a free sneak peek at its wisdom, specifically the chapter on manscaping. (There are two kinds of acceptable back hair: "gorillas and werewolves.") Oh yeah, there's also some pube-trimming advice from Donnell Rawlings. "Guy Code" is saving one guy at a time... and "Unleash Your Manhood" will save guys one page at a time.

Download the PDF sample chapter here. Quick note, the e-book is available in iPad, iPhone, Nook and Kindle versions, but iPad is the only one formatted with multimedia.

Children of the 1980s and '90s might find themselves experiencing a mental flashback when Comedy Central's "Workaholics" asks, "What Would Kurt Loder Do?" on tonight's episode. This sneak peek clip brought us right back to the days when Kurt kept us informed on all the latest music happenings at MTV News...

For such a straitlaced-seeming reporter, Kurt's actually a super interesting guy. So, what would Kurt Loder do?" Well, here's a few surprising things...

jordan-tips

On this week's new "Guy Code" (watch full episode here), Jordan Carlos explains how he tips bartenders extra to make up for the stereotype that black people don't tip. He also makes a plea to other black guys to do the same (Jordan can make it rain, but he's still only one man). Really, everyone should be tipping in bars, that is, if you want to get buzzed in a reasonable about of time.

In addition to bar etiquette, the cast also discusses new relationships, being a nerd and having kids. For those teen dads out there, they also present a very special sketch video. Overall, there's a lot of info. Even if you've already seen it, you should really watch the episode again, but here are some illustrations and GIFs from last night to help you along.

new-relationship-man

Tonight's new "Guy Code" episode dealt with New Relationships, Bar Etiquette, Having a Kid and Being a Nerd. Coincidentally, all of those things have to do with sex. Yep, even Being a Nerd, because it appears as if nerds are getting laid now and they have to know what to do with their spectacles once the heavy sucking-face begins. Seriously, we're not just being dicks, that's really a problem for four-eyed dudes and the geek-tastic Jordan Carlos is nice enough to gives you some tips on how to deal with it.
Anyway, enough with the writing, I'm sure you want to learn all of the details about new relationship sex, so feast your eyes below:

Kids can perplex men, which seems odd since we all were ones at some point...and many of us are still considered big kids by our girlfriends and family members. Don't be embarrassed to admit that you're not sure how you feel about having your own kids or dealing with someone's little booger-eaters. For some reason, other people (especially parents and women) will judge you based on how kids react to you, so it can be stressful. However, it doesn't have to be. There are a few simple rules when it comes to dealing with kids and "Guy Code" breaks them down tonight on MTV2 at 11p/10c. Here's a sneak peek to get you ready:

nerds

Once upon a time, it was easy to differentiate nerds from the popular crowd. They were the bespectacled outsiders who spent their time tapping keyboards rather than tapping kegs or tapping asses. No one "tried" to be a nerd. It wasn't a fashion choice. Some guys were simply predestined by nature to be too intelligent for their own good and insufficiently sociable.

However, somewhere in the last five years, being a nerd became cool. Kevin Durant, one of the best three basketball players in the world, wears dorky glasses and carries a backpack to press conferences like he's just stopping by on his way to math club. The cast of "Guy Code," some of whom are legitimate old-school nerds, discuss this trend in tomorrow night's new episode and we have a sneak peek here:
