If you have a beard, you will repel women. It's something that's long been suspected, but now it's science. According to the Daily Mail, 200 women rated men with and without their beards, and found the clean-shaven look "significantly more attractive." Presumably the food bits resting on pillows of coarse chin hair didn't help the bearded cause.

That said, beards add "gravitas," probably because (Brooklyn notwithstanding) men with beards are usually seen wiping their brows, making their own beef jerky, or giving great directions. Basically, a glorious mass of face fur does "little to attract women" but it totally warns other bros to step the EFF off.

You know how we always hear that women dress not for us, but for other women? Well, yeah, it looks like we do that, too. We may say we're growing the beard out of sheer laziness, but evolution says we're trying to regain some of that alpha-dog mojo--which explains the concept of playoff beards.

So unless you're in the midst of a Cinderella run, shave that thing. Granted, you don't have to go all baby's bottom, because the research found that light stubble got "the highest ratings from women." Shave on Sunday, get laid on Friday night. It's science.

If getting laid isn't reason enough to start shaving, check out this funny yet information video from the Dollar Shave Club. Great idea for a company and marketing video:

Dwyane Wade's name is always in the conversation when discussing the NBA's alpha dogs. While we're still taking LeBron James over him for our fantasy basketball teams, Wade is our first pick for fantasy best friend. First of all, he's the snappiest dresser in the Association. So, if you're roughly his size, you'd get all of his awesome hand-me-down suits, ties, sweater vests, shoes, etc. Second, he's dating model/actress Gabrielle Union, who is not only super hot but seems like one of the chillest ladies in Miami. So, you'd get to hang on the beach with her all the time. Third, D. Wade is a great laugher, which is an underrated attribute of fantasy best friends. You want to be able to laugh a lot with them.

The Check-In at the 2012 NBA All-Star Weekend got a small taste of what it'd be like to be pals with Miami Heat's shooting guard. Before the fifth annual Wade's World Foundation All-Star Luncheon, the proceeds of which benefit the Orlando-based charity Tangelo Park Program, Eric and Jeff Rosenthal joked around with him about "Basketball Wives," Chris Bosh and outrageous strategies for the NBA All-Star game-plan. You will enjoy this video immensely and from now on, put D. Wade on your all-time fantasy best friends list.

Little known fact about MTV Clutch, it's managed by a cartoon character. Not a guy with a cartoonish personality, but an actual animated blogger named Ryan McKee. Preposterous, you say? Congratulations on using "preposterous" correctly, but it's true.

MTV created a living cartoon to be the editor of their guy blog. Financially and creatively, it just made sense. Cartoons don't get sick and miss work. They don't need health coverage. And they never age, so Ryan can write content for young guys for decades to come. The only drawback is Ryan insists upon doing a monthly video blog and MTV has reluctantly agreed.

If Ryan McKee, Animated Blogger offends you, our lawyers want you to remember that he's a cartoon and doesn't know any better.

After MTV Clutch's official Super Bowl correspondent Adam Raymond spent yesterday bothering people at The Super Bowl Village, he headed over to Rolling Stone's Super Bowl Party in an attempt to lure celebrities into speaking to him about the big game. Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers, Dave Navarro, Anna Faris, Joe Manganiello, the Gym Class Heroes and Barenaked Ladies all stop on the red carpet to answer his questions. Do they regret it? Let's just say we're pretty certain Aaron Rodgers has never before been asked, "Who is cuter: Tom Brady or Eli Manning?"

Inspired by a Reddit submission of a maddened Jack Nicholson from "The Shining," we decided to scan the web to see what kind of scary street art tortures unsuspecting or easily scared souls around the world. We were not disappointed by the results.

The submission was titled, "Because some graffiti you don't want to turn the corner and see at 3 a.m." Pretty much all of the pieces below meet that criteria. From the profound to perverted, graffiti to wheatpaste, dark to demented, from all around the world--Berlin, Madrid, Los Angeles, Sydney, New York--check out some of the best of scary street art.

Ask any woman who loves R&B about Miguel, and she'll tell you that this singer may be diminutive in stature but he's towering in sex appeal. We'll be honest, The Check-In hosts had a difficult time keeping their pants on once they got in the same room with the man behind "All I Want Is You." Luckily Eric and Jeff (@ItsTheReal) are professionals and fought through their urges to not only surprise the s*** out of Miguel, but also convince him to explain how to stalk him and improvise a terrorist action sequence with them. We're not overselling this when we say it's the funniest interview ever done with Miguel.

Kevin Kirkpatrick, a self-employed special effects makeup artist in Hollywood, has had a pretty good career. He's done work for movies such as "Sucker Punch" and " Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides." And yet, this blog, and we're willing to bet every other blog, has never mentioned him.

Today that changes. Because today we're not only mentioning Kirkpatrick, but getting on our hands and knees repeating "We're not worthy." And it's all due to Beavis and Butt-Head. Late last night Kirkpatrick posted the photos above and below of two life-like B&B sculptures he did for the "Conjoined 2" art show opening in L.A. this weekend.

These horrifying monstrosities are mostly made of silicone, with acrylic eyes and teeth. The hair, of course, is from humans. The shirts? Those are just shirts. And the nightmares you'll be having tonight about Beavis and Butt-Head attacking you in your sleep? Those will be as realistic and horrifying as the look Beavis is giving you in the third photo below.
