Sore Nuts Award

The heavyweight tournament finale between Thiago Santos and Eric Prindle was expected to see two monsters slug it out and earn a title shot against Cole Konrad. Well, things didn't exactly go as planned. After taking Prindle down one minute into the fight, Santos rose to his feet and stared at the downed Prindle. Usually, this is where the fighter either kicks at the legs of his opponent or allows him to get back to his feet. For some reason, Santos instead inexplicably tried to kick a field goal with Prindle's nuts as every man on earth winced. Needless to say, Prindle writhed in pain and could not continue. Referee Greg Franklin called a foul on Santos, said it was incidental (how?), called off the fight and ruled it a no-contest. We guess there won't be a tournament winner until 2012 now. Hopefully Prindle (and his family jewels) will be ready by then.
