The Academy Awards ceremony, which airs this Sunday, will put a cap on this year's three major movie (and television) award galas, where the viewing public gets to observe well-compensated stars marveling at one another's talent. Some of you will have Oscar parties and make wagers on the winners. Others of you will tune out after the montage of dead celebrities and tune back in for the Best Picture Award.

The three big-time shows--the other two being the Golden Globes and Screen Actors Guild (SAG) awards--have a lot in common and some things that distinguish them. Check out our handy Venn diagram above to see how they compare.

The U.S. produces a lot of candidates for MTV's "16 and Pregnant." The young people of this nation contract a lot of sexually transmitted diseases too. There's a political battle in this country whether abstinence education or sex education is the answer to preventing a lot of "unplanned" babies and even more genital discomfort. Washington is even debating the value of contraception again. Don't worry guys, no one is taking away your condoms. But these problems do need solving, so consider some facts.

Millennials reading this from the warmth of a parents' home will nod sadly at the disheartening facts and figures in this infographic. The job market sucks for highly educated 18- to 29-year-olds. Almost half of recent graduates regret choosing their college major carelessly (you can do anything with a liberal arts degree, namely, convince an employer that you're not useless). All together, the graphic paints a miserable picture about the disconnect between millennials' expectations and reality. As necessary, wash this all down with a cold one. We don't think that's too much to ask.

Judge Judy has been around so long, she feels more familiar to us than our grandmother and is more intimidating than our WWII veteran grandfather. Her show is in its 16th season, so we must know what "Judge Judy" is all about, right? She yells. She's nasal. She haunts our dreams...you know, even babies know this stuff. However, after reading the following infographic, we realized Judy is much deeper, more successful, more interesting and more informative than most idiots would guess.

Just what it says. The NFL's version of an All-Star Game is without a doubt the most meaningless exhibition contest held by the major professional sports leagues. Understandably, the players (and their teams) don't want to get injured, so it's a glorified powder puff contest, scheduled this year for Jan. 29 at Aloha Stadium in Hawaii. The NFL has attempted to pique fan interest by playing the game between the championship games and the Super Bowl, but the timing of the exhibition just can't cure its meaninglessness. It is what it is, a nice trip for the best players. This chart helped me, a die-hard football fan, put my lack of interest in perspective. Perhaps you feel the same way. XLVI or bust!

Over the last 30 years, nearly everything has changed in hip-hop: lyrical styles, beats, fashion, subject matter, politics, geography, ethnic diversity, gender biases...you name it. The thing that has remained constant is rappers' love of sneakers. From the early days of The Rock Steady Crew with their Converse All-Stars and Run-D.M.C. with their Adidas, to Air Jordans, Reebok Pumps and now rappers' own shoe lines, sneakers have been a constant thread. MTV Clutch has tirelessly researched the bond between rappers and their kicks and built the definitive timeline of hip-hop sneakers through the years. See below.
