Even if he's your tightest friend, don't go digging around in his fridge unless you have permission. P-Tone will lay out all the particulars below.

Ghostface Killah's series of Pretty Toney shorts for MTV2 gives us a number of Universal Laws to follow. One of the most important is what to do when "ya' got boot feet" and you're rolling up to your homie's pad. If he's got a nice rug, you have to take off your boots or explain your smelly "boot feet" situation and decline the invitation to enter. It's OK to patiently wait outside until they're ready to roll to the club.

After you watch the video below, check out MTV's very first interactive e-book, "The World According to Pretty Toney," which combines Ghostface's advice with audio and video, and even photos starring "Guy Code" cast-member Donnell Rawlings. You can download it (MSRP $9.99) via the iTunes, Amazon and Barnes & Noble bookstores.

If you're a rapper, you need a hype man to get the crowd excited. That tradition goes all the way back to Grandmaster Flash, whose hype man MC Cowboy invented lines such as "throw your hands in the air (and wave 'em like you just don't care)," "clap your hands to the beat" and "everybody say ho!" Which paved the way for hip-hop's most famous hype man, Flava Flav, who added just the right amount of, well, flava to Public Enemy.

Unfortunately, the hype man for rapper Young Steady won't be joining those legendary ranks any time soon. The Internet has dubbed him "the worst rap hype man ever," and you can see why:

Let's break down exactly why this dude is so bad at hype...

Kanye West has been wearing a leather kilt (or man-skirt, or whatever it is) at his concerts for awhile, but last night's 12-12-12 Hurricane Sandy benefit was many people's first exposure to it. And whenever a celebrity does something weird, the masses turn to Twitter.

No surprise, #KanyesKilt became a whole thing, even spawning its own account with tweets such as "You would not believe the chafing going on in here right now" and "For those of you wishing to purchase a similar garment, go to your local Scottish S&M outlet." Here's the best of the rest...

2. One of the best skirts of all time:

We're living in hard economic times. Yeah, the recession's getting a little better, but that's not much comfort when you're struggling to pay the bills. Fortunately, Ghostface Killah (in character as Pretty Toney) can teach you how to live on just $5.00 per day. You might have to get over your taste for the finer things and settle for a "hustler's diet" of peanut butter and jelly--but if you ask us, a PBJ is a finer thing. And don't forget your cookie on the side.

After you watch the video below, check out MTV's very first interactive e-book, "The World According to Pretty Toney," which combines Ghostface's advice with audio and video, and even photos starring "Guy Code" cast-member Donnell Rawlings. What do big-bootied girls, life in the hood and J.R.R. Tolkien have in common? They've all inspired rappers, of course. With "The Hobbit" hitting theaters on Friday, we turn our eye (of Sauron!) to the question that no one has ever asked: Which Tolkien character is most referenced by rappers?

Using the robust lyric database at Rap Genius, we tallied all the Bilbos, Gollums and Legaloses in hip-hop (excluding all those in French, which was kind of a lot). Here's what we learned, along with an example for each character.

"Physicality, fighting ability, financial wealth, sexual prowess, or coolness." Those, according to Wikipedia, are the topics on which rappers are most likely to brag. I'm tempted to dispute it, because this is the Internet and I'm supposed to be contrarian, but it actually seems pretty accurate. Some of rap's greatest boasts (for example, Jay-Z's "I'm not a businessman, I'm a business, man," and Biggie's "I got more Mack than Craig and in the bed/ Believe me sweetie, I got enough to feed the needy" ) fall into those categories. So do some of the worst and that's what we're here to talk about today.

The best bad rap boasts offer a delicious taste of irony, making the rapper look worse in his attempt to make himself look better. And after poring through hundreds of awful rap songs, we're ready to present the list of 2012's worst attempts at boasting in song. The rappers below may have more physicality, fighting ability, financial wealth, sexual prowess and coolness than I do, but at least I didn't write these lines.
