If you're not familiar with the cinnamon challenge, you're either someone's grandpa or you only use the Internet for productive tasks. In either case, you're really missing out. The challenge is a nearly impossible feat. Foolishly brave participants attempt to swallow a tablespoon (or more) of pure cinnamon WITHOUT drinking any water. In that explanation, it sounds easy to accomplish. It's not. The cinnamon does an incredibly effective job of saturating every ounce of saliva from the front of your teeth to the back of your throat. Add that to the general irritation of having a bunch of something spicy in your face, and you're looking at a solid 10 minutes of discomfort, even if you crack and reach for some water.

The best part of the cinnamon challenge is watching people fail. Because when they do, a large brown cloud of cinnamon billows from their mouth, and they choke, cough and freak out accordingly. ENJOY!

This weekend was overloaded with MMA action as the UFC held events on Friday and Saturday. Although nobody really wanted to cough up the cash to see UFC 147 after the highly anticipated rematch between TUF Brazil coaches Vitor Belfort and Wanderlei Silva was scrapped in favor of Silva vs. Rich Franklin when Belfort went down with an injury, fans were treated to a free card that was headlined by lightweights Clay Guida and Gray Maynard. Both headliners were rather bizarre but the clash between Roger Huerta and Zorobabel Moreira at ONE FC in Malaysia had one of the most devastating knockouts you'll see. Good thing we got the GIFs to prove it.

Twenty-six-year-old Webb Simpson improbably won the U.S. Open last night, after a weekend-long broadcast full of reverence for "the game of golf" and moving tributes to fathers on their day. Which means it was all ripe for a prank.

And that's why we have the chicken man GIF. The video-bomb happened during Simpson's post-victory interview with Bob Costas. A (probably hammered) British man jumped in front of the camera and started cawing like a bird. This is so much more effective than streaking. Streaking doesn't shock anyone. It's good for maybe a sweet shot of the streaker getting clobbered by security or a player, but that's it. These days, you gotta go for weird if you wanna leave a lasting image (and by "lasting image," we mean something GIF-able like this, that can live on the Internet for the rest of time).

As funny as it is on a silent loop, you really need to go watch the video and hear the man's drunken rooster call. We guess this is why they do the Masters green jacket ceremony indoors now.

Basketball Superstar Doesn't Know How To High-Five

The Miami Heat got their vengeance in Game 2 against the Oklahoma City Thunder last night, tying the series at one apiece. The Heat almost let this one slip away in the closing minutes of the game, thanks to an OKC rally. But that wasn't the ugliest part of the night. No, that honor goes to Chris Bosh's failed high-five with Ronny Turiaf, above. Nice coordination, guys. You're pro athletes and you make these spelling bee kids look graceful:

No hyperbole in this headline -- evil clowns will actually haunt many people's dreams, or prevent them from sleeping. Take our friends Eric and Matt, for example, who have feared the makeup-wearing freaks since childhood. They have a legitimate phobia called coulrophobia. We won't link their Facebook profiles because we're nice guys. It also didn't help the clown community that 1970s serial killer John Wayne Gacy actually dressed up at parties as his creation "Pogo the Clown." There's more crazy stares and a healthy dose of Pennywise (above, from the film adaptation of Stephen King's "It") after the jump.

While the 2011-2012 season isn't over yet, we're already certain it will be remembered as one of the oddest NBA seasons ever. First, we don't even know if there'd be a season due to the lockout. That causes all kinds of drama including Bryant Gumbel likening David Stern to a "modern plantation overseer." Stern responds by blocking a Chris Paul trade to the Lakers, only to give him to the neighboring Clippers. Finally, the games begin on Christmas with fat, out-of-shape players, tons of Dwight Howard trade drama, a magic Asian-American elf named Jeremy Lin, injuries and finger-pointing galore, Amar'e Stoudemire losing in a fight with a fire extinguisher, the unibrow lottery "scandal"... and we haven't even mentioned the Miami Heat.

Not to discount the graceful displays of athletic prowess this season, but the clumsiest slapstick moments are what we'll tell our grand-kids about. To commemorate the last six months of NBA comedy, we offer a collection of the cheapest, most unglamorous form of Internet media you can find: GIFs. So feast your eyes on the funniest NBA GIFs of the 2011-2012.

You've been BOSHED!

The 17th entry for "booyah!" on Urban Dictionary defines the expression as follows: "A self-explanatory exclamation of dominance. Used to accredit one's self with a higher sense of worthiness and general superiority."

Oh Urban Dictionary, for all your useless and often terribly misguided information, you absolutely nailed this one. Has there been a more effective, powerful and efficient expression in the entire history of language than "booyah!"? We don't think so. "I love you" is three words, "oh yeah!" is two, and "yes!" is weak and watered down. The strength and clarity of "booyah!" is undeniable and untouchable.

So what happened to it? The expression was in heavy circulation in the late '90s/early '00s, thanks to constant use by both cool-dude "SportsCenter" anchor Stuart Scott and CNBC's obnoxiously exuberant financial guru Jim Cramer. Now, it's usually only used ironically. Its relative dormancy is a linguistic tragedy.

Well, folks, we want to bring it back. Below are 8 more GIFs that collectively serve as an ode to the expression "booyah!" Consider this our first push to get the exclamation back into your everyday lingo.

Today's Badass did much of his finest work in the late 1970s and early 1980s as the original host of "Family Feud," at a time when it was feasible for a kiss-happy British-born actor to spread his warmth over America. Dawson passed away over the weekend at age 79. Executive producer Howard Felsher estimated that over the course of Dawson's 10-year run as host of the game show, the "Kissing Bandit" laid a wet one on about 20,000 women. Some of them more than once. He's basically the Wilt Chamberlain of kissing.

Times have changed and America is a bit more prude and politically correct, at least on national television. "I kissed them for luck and love, that's all," Dawson said. To his credit, most women seemed willing participants in the smooches he planted on them as fathers, brothers and uncles (and possibly even husbands) looked on. It's not like the ladies didn't expect a kiss. Dawson eventually even met his future wife on the show when she was a contestant in 1981, Gretchen Johnson. Click on to see a few more of Dawson's greatest kisses.

After 13 weeks of being trapped in a house with a bunch of dudes who like hitting dudes for a living, "The Ultimate Fighter" culminated with the Finale in Las Vegas where everyone got to punch everyone. Pretty good way to end a season, right? What made it even better was that there were some pretty exciting fights with some great finishes. We had a remarkable comeback, a kick in the head and one of those moments that made even the toughest of tough guys tear up just a little bit.
