The great Will Ferrell has been doing funny things in movies ever since Mike Myers dropped him into a pit of fire in the first "Austin Powers." Every subsequent role has led to this Sunday, when Ferrell will receive the first-ever Comedic Genius Award at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards. Well-deserved!

Before we celebrate the hilarity of John William Ferrell (born 1967 in Irvine, California), however, we'd like to spend some time on a less appreciated character trait--his manliness. We'd argue that Ferrell is Hollywood's biggest brute, more masculine than any musclebound meathead. And here are the GIFs to prove it.

Film explosions rarely get the respect they deserve. Cine-snobs say they're trifling and extravagant, included only to appeal to those Neanderthals who giggle when they see things go boom. Well, we are those Neanderthals! And we can't wait for Sunday's MTV Movie Awards, because there are a bunch of excellent movies nominated across the 13 categories, some of which include 2012's best on-screen explosions.

Since big balls of fire don't yet warrant their own category on the show, we've taken it upon ourselves to assemble this list of nominees in GIF form. As Beavis would say, "Fire! Fire! Fire! Fire!"

While the cast-members in "Guy Code" season three gave us the most memorable lines from this series yet, the animators brought their game to a whole new level as well. Every week we were delighted to see many of the illustrations work as hilarious GIFs on their own, without voice-over. Funny GIFs & Illustrations From 'Guy Code' Season 3 Finale

The season three finale "Guy Code" was a big one! Not only did we get the bookends to "Hot Girl On A Bicycle" with "Hot Girl Shooting Hoops" and "Hot Girl Walking Her Dog," plus a break-in from the "Girl Code" cast talking about penises, we also learned all about dads, being embarrassed, falling in love and guys' night out. Good thing they jammed so much into this episode since it's the last one we'll get for awhile! I know, we're sad too. Melanie Iglesias Plays Basketball [Sneak Peek GIF]

Think back to the beginning of "Guy Code" season three. We brought you April Rose in "Hot Girl On A Bicycle." That was a great day, wasn't it? Well, tonight's season finale brings you the companion pieces for that glorious video.

As you can see above, the first showcases the lovely Melanie Iglesias playing basketball in slow-motion. This is way better than watching LeBron James mess around and get a triple-double. Plus, the "Hot Girl Shooting Hoops" isn't the only video tonight that'll make your girlfriend jealous. There is a second that's top secret.

Your lady can take comfort though in knowing she gets to see a sneak peek of the all-new "Girl Code" series if she tunes in as well at 11/10c on MTV2.

We love movies, old-school Nintendo games and GIFs, so we could spend all day clicking through this hypnotic gallery of famous film scenes (from "Taxi Driver," "Pulp Fiction," "Ghostbusters" and more) imagined as 8-bit NES adventures.

Actually, we demand more. These should either be full-length animated movies or playable video games. Come on, internet, you can't tease us like this. Get crackin'.

Funny GIFs & Illustrations From This Week's New 'Guy Code'

On this week's new "Guy Code," we learned that you really should respect your teachers, because their lives are more similar to their students' than you'd think.

We learned all types of stuff this week. In addition to the education system and hot teachers, the show ran the gambit with flying, sex on airplanes, spicing it up in the bedroom, sex toys and funerals. Overall, there's a lot of info. Even if you've already seen it, you should really watch the episode again, but here are some illustrations and GIFs to help you along.

10 Baseball Players Getting Hit With Celebratory Pies [GIFs]

Oakland A's outfielder Josh Reddick raised the bar for whipped cream pieings last season when he dressed up in a Spider-Man (a.k.a. "Pie-der Man") costume and smashed Coco Crisp after a 13th-inning walk-off sacrifice fly. It's one of baseball's entertaining, delicious traditions. Tastes like victory!

Little did the businessman rushing to work know that a bus driver would lose focus and plow into a station wagon at the red light. Fortunately Mr. Frogger turned his head with just enough time to outrun both the car and bus; a millisecond later and he might've been roadkill.
