"Desire Obtain Cherish"

"TL;DR" is internet-speak for "Too long; didn't read." You'll see it used when some passionate nerd writes an exceptionally wordy comment or blog post. If one of your fellow online readers is nice enough, he or she will take the time to skim it and sum up the content in one snarky sentence. You'll find these few words say essentially the same thing the obsessive author took a dissertation to explain. Since many readers are going back to school soon, we decided to use this technique to sum up the summer reading list you never got around to cracking. (What the hell, right? When else do we get to show off our really useful English degrees?) So think of 'em as "ClutchNotes." Read on, feel confident going into English class and use the time we've saved you to peruse our back catalog of genius. Read More...
It's a question that's stumped people more intelligent than we are. But we imagine stepping into Bam Margera's brain is akin to stepping into a fiery cauldron of urine, guyliner and booze--the kind of place that's a blast for some people and hellish to others. Plainly speaking, we have no idea what's going on in Bam's head, but we sure as hell can guess. So that's what we did. Then we turned it into this:

Another day, another goofy internet thing to fall in love with. Yesterday it was horsemaning and today it's Windoodles. Tomorrow? We'll just have to wait for Buzzfeed to discover it. For now, at least, let's concentrating on Windoodling and the contribution to the art form made by Gusto, the same creative bastard who whipped up this amazing horsemaning GIF for us yesterday. Is there anything this man can't do?
See Mr. GIF get in on the action too, after the jump. Read More...
With all of his sneaking around at night and identity hiding, Banksy is a tough dude to keep track of. How's a fan supposed to keep up every with far-flung piece he throws up in the middle of the night? With a Banksy iPhone app, that's how! Banksy Locations is a new iPhone app that maps every work by the hoodie-wearing street artist. It also provides instructions on how to sneak past attack dogs to see them. For those who prefer to see street art in photo and video form, the app also has a digital museum of all of Banksy's works that you can thumb through while you're in the bath. And if any a-holes try to call you lazy for not going to see the pieces in person, tell them you're honoring Banksy by keeping your appearance a mystery.
Sometimes GIFs are so bizarre, so creepy, so surreal, that it's a good idea to only watch them once. Because after too many viewings of certain GIFs, the walls of reality start to break down "Inception"-style and you start to question whether or not this is in fact real life. But there's obviously a problem with that. GIFs are inherently on a loop. To watch a GIF only once would take some impressive dexterity with the command W shortcut (Mac users, baby!). But the way we see it, that's your problem. We're presenting you with these GIFs you should watch only once because it's an important public service. How you're actually going to go about watching them only once is something for you to figure out. Read More...
