‘Guy Code Podcast’ Welcomes Darin Byrne, Producer & MTV2’s Vice President of Development

Darin Byrne with Donnell Rawlings at “Guy Code” Season 2 Finale Party

Darin Byrne is the Vice President of Development at MTV2, as well as an Executive Producer on “Guy Code,” “Guy Court,” “Mac Miller and the Most Dope Family,” “Ain’t That America with Lil Duval” and others. He’s even the one responsible for coming up with the name “Guy Code” — inspired by an argument Ronnie and The Situation were having on “Jersey Shore.” This week, Ryan Ling and Ryan McKee invite Darin (aka Byrne Unit, aka Darin 1000, aka D-Block) on “Guy Code Podcast” to talk about what he does exactly at MTV2, some of the worst TV show pitches he’s heard, how to be successful in TV, growing up in the projects as the only white family, how he got into television with “MTV News,” interviewing Eminem before The Slim Shady LP dropped, working with Mac Miller and much more.
