Damien Lemon Talks About Going To Comic-Con For ‘Guy Code Honors’

Usually we leave the San Diego Comic-Con coverage to MTV Geek, but this year we’ve decided to crash the party! If you’re headed to the event, you have to be at Petco Park, home of the San Diego Padres, on Thursday, July 18, for the first-ever “MTV2 Party in the Park.”

It’s going to be huge, with plenty of celebrities, music, hot ladies and weird people dressed in costumes (’cause, after all, it’s still Comic-Con). The best part is that we’re doing the inaugural “Guy Code Honors.”Jon Gabrus, Jordan Carlos, Damien Lemon and Chris Distafano are going to geek out over which of this year’s best sci-fi/fantasy/thriller movies, shows, actors, heroes and heroines rocked the hardest.

In the above video, Damien says he’s excited to attend the mecca of the geeks because he read comic books as a kid. His favorite was The Amazing Spider-Man, which means his childhood dream came true when he got to play a cab driver who crashes in last year’s “The Amazing Spider-Man.” Well, maybe that wasn’t his dream role, but it’s still cool.

If you can’t make it to San Diego, that sucks, but luckily you can watch the “Guy Code Honors” one-hour special on Sunday, July 21, at 8:00p ET/PT on MTV and MTV2. It’s all part of “MTV Geekend,” which also includes an all-weekend-long live-stream, “MTV’s Comic-Con Live!,” in which members of the “Guy Code” cast will also be popping up to cause trouble.
