Some people take their condiments a little too seriously.
A Subway employee from Florida was fired for fighting with a customer about putting ketchup his sandwich. The customer, Luis Martinez, ordered a Philly cheese steak with "American cheese, onions and ketchup." The employee, Lawrence Ordone, told Martinez, "We don't even have ketchup at Subway -- I've never put ketchup on anybody's sandwich." That's when the situation went sh*tballs crazy.
Ordone admittedly "flew off the handle" and allegedly told him to "fight like a man" and threatened to kill Martinez in front of his wife. We can all agree that Martinez is both wrong and gross for ordering ketchup on his cheese steak, but it's not worth losing your job over--even if it's just Subway--times are tough.
On the one hand, Ordone is a sandwich artist, so his passion is understandable. If a man put ketchup on a steak at a five-star restaurant, the chef would obviously be angry. On the other hand, Subway is kind of gross and not worth killing a man to save a sandwich's integrity. Hopefully, both of these men will realize they are wrong in this situation.
