Gentlemen used to never get tattoos below the wrist, because those were impossible to cover up. (In social situations unsuitable for gloves, anyway.) Clearly times have changed, because modern gentleman Lil Wayne just got another tat on his head to complement the stars and teardrops: "BAKED."
It's actually not a drug reference, but a tribute to the Baker Skateboards company. In an interview last summer, Lil Wayne explained:
"I picked up the skateboard and I thought it would be a hobby, but it's a lifestyle. You have to be fully committed. In order to be fully committed, you have to live that lifestyle. ... Rap is taking backseat to skating. That's all right. But I kind of feel I deserve that. … I think fans deserve some peace from me."
Dude, your forehead deserves some peace too! At least Baker Skateboards won't lose an election, so this isn't as bad as the guy who got a Mitt Romney tattoo above the neck last year. They make gloves for faces, right?
