Detroit Lions +4 vs Atlanta Falcons

Atlanta is coming off a huge win at home, so this is a game they don’t absolutely need. Detroit just got embarrassed by the Cardinals, but match up well against the Falcons, beating them in yards gained, yards allowed and time of possession. Matt Stafford and Megatron can transform this team into an against-the-spread winner.

Seattle Seahawks +1 vs San Francisco 49ers

The Seahawks are a staggering 6-0 against the spread at home, and with back-to-back 50-point games they show no signs of slowing down. The 49ers are coming off an impressive win in New England, but will be emotionally drained when they hit the road again to Seattle. Pete Carroll is the Tim “The Tool Man” Taylor of the NFL, ’cause he’d be nothing without the help of Mr. Wilson.

Indianapolis Colts -6.5 at Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs are 3-6 ATS their past 9 games and show few signs of hope in the future. The Chiefs are averaging a mere 13.9 points per game compared to the Colts’ 22.1. Look for Andrew Luck to barbecue the Kansas City defensive backs as the Colts stampede into the playoffs.

Prosperous Prop Bets

NFL MVP Award Tom Brady: +450

His wife, his stats, his beard… everything in this guy’s life is pretty. As disheartening as it is to see a model for Uggs win another MVP, you can’t deny his amazing season.

Giants to win the NFL Conference: +1300

I personally hate the Giants and would be physically ill if they make it to another Super Bowl, which probably means it’s a good bet–and at 13:1 it’s definitely worth the risk.
