Hip-Hop & Reggae Concerts To Increase In Colorado & Washington

To quote Snoop Lion: smoke weed every day. Residents in Washington and Colorado will soon have the ability to do so legally, as voters in both states passed measures Tuesday approving marijuana for recreational use; the growers will grow, businesses will sell, the taxman will tax it and anyone over the age of 21 in those states will be able to purchase, possess and light up.

“The voters have spoken and we have to respect their will,” said Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper. “This is a complicated process, but we intend to follow through. That said, federal law still says marijuana is an illegal drug, so don’t break out the Cheetos or goldfish too quickly.”

We predict many rappers will soon be booking more concerts in those states. Many of them already tweeted about it last night. If you’re a fan of hip-hop and/or reggae, get ready for some great live music! That is, unless the Feds totally crash the party and kill everyone’s buzz.
