R.A. The Rugged Man Drops Knowledge In ‘Film School’

Film geeks! Film.com just launched an all-new web series called “Film School with R.A. the Rugged Man” and it will rock your pop culture world. R.A. the Rugged Man is a rapper, writer, director and movie buff. And starting now, every other week you’ll get to visit his Harlem apartment (which apparently has a wall made entirely of DVD cases) as he breaks down the biggest movies and drops some seriously obscure knowledge–usually in a torrent of profanity, which is just how we like our movie news.

For instance, with hype for “The Dark Knight Rises” at full throttle, in this first episode R.A. has some trivia about the caped crusader’s film origin (it was WAY before Michael Keaton uttered “I am Batman”). Like you and me, R.A.’s no film snob; he loves the highbrow and the lowbrow. Watch the first episode to hear his thoughts on everything from “Twilight” to movie remakes to Chuck Norris.
