As promised, here's our interview with UFC Heavyweight Champion Junior Dos Santos. He may be a complete terror in the ring, but Andreas Hale found out Dos Santos is just a nice guy who's incredibly grateful for all his success. Junior explained how hearing his name after the phrase "undisputed heavyweight champion" has given him more confidence in the ring--but that doesn't change the fact that tomorrow's bout against Frank Mir will be his toughest yet.
We all know there's a big difference leading up to a fight when you're no longer preparing as the challenger to the title but rather when you're defending it. But the key for Dos Santos has been to hone his speed and power advantages. We also know that Dos Santos will be aiming for a knockout, but he says don't count out a surprise submission victory for Junior.
