Some asses definitely got kicked this weekend as "UFC on Fox 3" and "Bellator 67" both took place. We had some thrilling fights were guys had to survive nearly being finished and turn the tables on their opponents. We had a trash talking Nate Diaz put hands all over Dan Miller in a surprisingly one-sided affair and Bellator's lightweight champion utterly destroyed an MMA legend.
Break My Arm? I'll Break Your Face!
Nobody expected Lavar Johnson and Pat Barry to go the distance. Everyone assumed somebody was going to get knocked the f*** out. So we were shocked when the smaller Barry took the hulking Johnson down and applied a submission that appeared to have Johnson in tears.
It looked like it was all over for Johnson as Pat Barry was in full "tap or snap" mode as he locked in a vicious keylock and put all of his might into the hold. But Johnson is one big sonofabitch who refused to let a nearly broken arm ruin his night. Somehow, the monstrous Johnson got out of the hold and back to his feet. Then this happened...
Uh oh, somebody pissed Johnson off as he proceeded to go ape on poor Pat Barry. It was the MMA equivalent of the Hulk Smash. Go ahead and say it as Johnson bombs away on Barry's flesh until he collapses on one knee on some ol' "I'm just chillin'" tip. Look at his swag as he walks away.
The Leprechaun Survives
Louis Gaudinot (the dude with the green hair) and John Lineker engaged in a rough toe to toe battle where defense wasn't on the menu. It was fan pleasing to watch them beat their respective brains out. Unfortunately for Gaudinot, things got rough in the second round as Lineker began beating down Gaudinot like he owed him a pot o' gold.
It looked like the green haired wonder was about to be headed for dream street. But rather than make that left, Gaudinot opted to turn right and dramatically change his fortunes. After all, he is a leprechaun.
Ahoy! The little guy sprung into action and cinched in a nasty guillotine. Lineker tried to slam his way out of the choke but Gaudinot had no plans on letting his opponent out of the guillotine. Lineker was counting sheep a few short moments later.
Diaz Trash Talks Miller Into Submission
A lot of us thought this was going to be a competitive fight. Well, we were wrong. You know how those Diaz brothers do. There's something about a guy giving you the "What? What?" taunt when you try and hit him with everything you have in your soul. Diaz is kind of like a pissed off zombie and that's no fun for anybody.
Funny how Miller tried to sneak in a flying knee. That only pissed Diaz off some more. Then he started hitting himself in the face. That's certainly bad news. Now just wait for him to attack.
No, Dan Miller isn't sticking his tongue out in an "Na Na Na" effort. He's actually being choked so tightly by that guillotine that his tongue is coming out of his mouth while his teeth clamp down on it. Yeah. Ouch. Tapout dude.

Unfortunately, Michael Chandler didn't give us enough fight footage for two GIFs. Sorry kids, he didn't feel like wasting time with Akihiro Gono and beat his face in. Yes, those punches were in real time. Yikes. It only took 56 seconds
