One of the downsides of being a pro athlete, along with all the money and women, is having a camera constantly pointed at you while you’re in the throes of athletic competition. As we’ve documented several times before, it has the potential to produce some pretty unflattering portraits (see: “22 Athlete Derp Faces;” “The 15 Ugliest Dunk Faces From The 2010-2011 NBA Season,”). And because when we happen upon a good idea we beat it into the ground, today we return to exploit the high-speed shutters of professional sports photographers. Our subject: Major League pitchers and the vinegar stroke-like faces they make while delivering a little leather ball 60 feet and 6 inches. If nothing else, it’ll make you thankful a chubby photographer (redundant!) isn’t taking pictures of you at work.
