Brainstorming New Names For Bankrupt Young Buck

Adding insult to financial distress, Young Buck may be stripped of his name in a bankruptcy proceeding. The rapper, real name David Darnell Brown, has been plagued by a contract dispute with 50 Cent and G-Unit Records, who claim that Buck owes them more $10 million. Seeking to obtain assets to pay off his various other debts, the trustee handling his case said she plans to sell the trademarked name along with other assets. But Buck told the Tennessean:

“My name, Young Buck, has been with me since I was 12, 13 years old,” Buck said. “At the end of the day, it’s ridiculous. My name wasn’t given to me by G-Unit Records. They didn’t name me Young Buck. My mother calls me Young Buck.”

Unfortunately, the law of mother may not hold up in court. And perhaps G-Unit will seek to buy the name in an attempt to screw the guy’s career, which has stalled since Buck and 50 had a falling out in 2007-2008. Buck says he’s close to signing a deal with Cash Money as soon as his court case settles, but the 30-year-old may need to sign under a new name. That’s where Clutch comes in. We’ve brainstormed some great new monikers for him:
