Metta World Peace Was Metta World Terrible On 'Dancing With The Stars'

Metta World Peace, the basketball player formerly known as Ron Artest, absolutely bombed last night on "Dancing With The Stars." One judge called his footwork "atrocious." Based on another review of Metta's rendition of the Cha Cha Cha, that description was probably generous. Peace (we're still experimenting with nicknames for Ron Ron) scored only 14 points out of a possible 30 points, which means that he won't be on the show much longer.

The other professional athlete who changed his name, Chad Ochocinco (formerly Johnson) actually did quite well, finishing fourth last year. But Mr. World Peace looked like an awkward teenager at his bar mitzvah who had actually taken dance lessons for the occasion. In other words, Metta performed like a 13-year-old uncoordinated Jewish boy. Check it out.
