Your dream is now a reality if you've ever fancied stuffing your face with mouthwatering Schweddy Balls.
As you've probably discerned by now, Schweddy Balls is a Ben & Jerry's ice cream flavor. The limited-edition vanilla treat with a hint of rum, loaded with fudge-covered rum and malt balls is inspired by an old "SNL" spoof on National Public Radio (NPR) where Alec Baldwin played guest Pete Schweddy on a fake show called "Delicious Dish." The ice cream is perfect for rum lovers and people who like sucking on balls. Unfortunately, it's only available in about 30 percent of stores right now.
Last week we discovered "Miami Slice," an artist's "Dexter"-inspired Ben & Jerry's flavor, so we thought this was a graphical tribute or a gag. But it's legit. "We've always been a company that has had a sense of humor," Ben & Jerry's spokesman Sean Greenwood said. "This is just plain silly."
If B&J's is willing to go here, then where else? Praline-flavored "Dead Parrots" ice cream? Cotton candy-flavored "Homey D. Cream"? Matt Foley's macadamia nut "Dose of Reality"? What TV-inspired Ben & Jerry's flavor would you buy?
