Travis Rice Talks 'Jackass,' John Candy And 'The Art Of Flight' [Video]

Following months of anticipation and several badass trailers, Travis Rice and the snowboarders behind "The Art of Flight" have descended upon New York City for the world premiere of their visually stunning masterpiece. The Red Bull-sponsored movie, two years in the making, debuts tonight in NYC and drops on iTunes tomorrow, September 8.

Rice sat down with The Check-In duo, brothers Eric and Jeff Rosenthal, for a few minutes bro-tastically hard-hitting questions. What's the difference between snowboarding down the side of a mountain and "Jackass"? It's all about "reckless optimism" and calculated risks, explains the snowboarder. Ideas that he says also guide the "Jackass" crew. Rice also settles the age-old debate--ass or rack?--and does his best John Candy in "Cool Runnings" impersonation. The Check-In beings . . . now.
