Celebrity Deathmatch: The Web Generation is our unanimated version of Celebrity Deathmatch with the exact same MO: to ridiculously and unnecessarily settle celebrity squabbles, pseudo-beefs and matchups chosen solely because two people share a common name.
Jay-Z and Kanye West's much-anticipated collaboration "Watch The Throne" finally dropped this week (digitally, so far) to mixed reviews. Expectations were high but that's what happens when hip-hop's biggest two stars collaborate and call themselves The Throne. Rumor also had it that the pair were fighting about the tour, although Jay-Z later cleared that up.
If album sales don't meet expectations and those rumors about their differences on tour expenses are true, maybe Hova and Kanye could actually throw down backstage. Or maybe, maybe they'd do it in a ring! Yes people, it's time for a deathmatch!
Note: Tyler, the Creator edged Tyler Perry in last week's deathmatch by a 54-46 margin.
Strengths:
Jay-Z: Is both an American Gangster and a Brooklyn Gangster; has a really hot wife to cheer him on from the stands; was given an Iron Man-like suit by Russian billionaire and Nets majority owner Milkhail Prokhorov
Kanye: Large ego; he's a mother-f****n' monster; learned a vicious front kick from Steven Seagal
Weaknesses:
Jay-Z: Partially blinded by Kanye's incredibly white teeth; affiliated with a JV team in the NBA
Kanye: Large ego; spends too much free time watching Chuck Norris in "Walker, Texas Ranger"
WHO WINS?
Poll closes on Aug. 17 at 10 p.m. ET.
