Summer Bikini Smackdown Sexy 16 Begins (Plus Round Two Results)

The polls closed last night on Summer Bikini Smackdown Round Two and two No. 1 seeds went down: Beyoncé, who thrashed Gwyneth Paltrow the previous week, lost to 8-seed Jessica Simpson by almost 15 points in The Studio Region. Across the bracket, Audrina Patridge fell to another 8-seed Lauren Conrad in the Reality Region, also by 15 points. (Full results are below).

The other two No. 1 seeds--Adriana Lima in the Classics Region and Halle Berry in the Hollywood region--remain. The only two double-digit seeds remaining are 15-seed Brooke Hogan, who bested Kristin Cavallari, and 12-seed Eva Mendes (50.28%),  who barely edged 13-seed Hayden Panettiere (49.72%).

The first two Sexy 16 pairings are below, beginning with an epic and often-debated "Which Jessica is hotter?" battle: Alba or Biel. The rest of the matchups will be rolled out each morning this week. Voting will remain open for this round until Sunday, July 24 at 10 pm ET. Ready, set, bikinis...
