Never before has "Beef Alert" touched on such a somber event.
As you know, Jackass brother Ryan Dunn died, along with a friend, late Sunday night in a car accident in Pennsylvania. Dunn was 34. Based on some photographs of Dunn drinking in a bar prior to the accident, it has been speculated that Dunn was driving drunk, though anecdotal reports say Dunn didn't appear intoxicated that night.
That's where Ebert comes in. Not long after news broke about Dunn's passing, the famed movie critic took to Twitter to weigh in on the tragedy, writing "Friends don't let jackasses drink and drive." Just before that, Ebert sent out a link to a report and said "'Jackass' star Ryan Dunn, RIP. Porsche flew through 40 yards of trees."
Bam, who's grieving the loss of his best friend, responded around midnight last night, his first remarks on Twitter since the accident. "I just lost my best friend, I have been crying hysterical for a full day and piece of s*** roger ebert has the gall to put in his 2 cents." Bam then added, "About a jackass drunk driving and his is one, f*** you! Millions of people are crying right now, shut your fat f***ing mouth!"
