Sylvester Stallone To Release Menswear Line Inspired By ‘Rocky’ And ‘Rambo’

Dude, guy, bro, before you throw on that Ed Hardy tee, consider this: You could be hitting up the gym, tanning salon, laundromat, club, community college or bookstore (ha!) in a fresh tee designed by the one and only Sylvester Stallone.

But wait, it gets more ridiculous. Sly isn’t just designing clothes, he plans on tapping his roles in “Rocky” and “Rambo” for some serious inspiration. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to get your hands on the menswear line, which is called Sly Inc. and features jeans, shirts, outerwear, and even fragrances, until sometime next year.

Apparently the 64-year-old actor got the bright idea to design his own line while filming the “Rambo” series. Turns out he lost so much weight that he couldn’t find anything diesel enough to contain the new and improved Sly. “I thought the time is now,” he said. “I’ve lived a life where I know what has worked and what hasn’t worked. Clothing is the first step to building a character. I really believe I have an understanding of the male psyche on all levels. I’m not experienced in this field, but we have the proper team to move this vision along.”

With the right touches, and maybe an exclusive sweatpants collection, we’re guaranteed to see some Sly Inc. designs down at the Jersey Shore. I can see Ronnie yelling out the window now: “Yo, Sammi…get back here!”
