I'll be honest; I thought Emmy Rossum was gone for good. She blew up way back in 2004 with two huge movies--"The Day After Tomorrow" and "The Phantom of the Opera"--and promptly disappeared. Then last year Showtime cast her in its remake of the British show "Shameless" and she started doing things like telling jokes in lingerie. That's when I realized that not only does Emmy still exist, but she exists in a much hotter form than before.
We recently caught up with Emmy and talked to her about dating, romance and Valentine's Day because, as you know, we're romantic guys. What she told us was intriguing. First, we learned that she prefers simple dates to stuffy ones. And second, we found out that she thinks Buzz Aldrin is awesome. I think we can all agree those are both excellent things. Check out the video below and you'll see why Counting Crows lead singer Adam Duritz was so psyched to date Emmy. As for why she'd date him? We'll never know.
"Shameless" airs on Showtime at 10 p.m. on Sundays.
