Ladies and gentlemen, Will Ferrell is bringing the sexiness to NBC's "The Office." If his character, a branch manager from headquarters, is anything like Chazz Michael Michaels, Chazz Reinhold, Ricky Bobby, any "SNL" character Ferrell ever played or Will Ferrell himself, it's going to be outstanding. The big man will appear with Steve Carell in three episodes later this season and then in one with the rest of the cast following Carrell's last show (Carrell is making his exit four episodes before the show's season finale).
"We found Steve Carell when he was nothing but a movie star and we turned him into a television star," executive producer Paul Lieberstein told EW. "We are proud to continue 'The Office''s tradition of discovering famous talent, and we hope that once America gets a good look at Will, they'll see what we see: tremendous raw sexuality."
Surely there will be some onscreen sexual tension between Ferrell and a cast member. Maybe he'll make a pass at Pam. Maybe he'll finally be the man to pay Kelly enough attention. Or maybe he and Bob Vance will fight for Phyllis' love. Whoever the lucky woman is, she's going to get a one-way ticket to Pleasure Town.
