Wait, hold on. There are more Olsens out there?
To be honest, we we're perfectly content with Mary-Kate and Ashley, who we had a crush on as kids and have pretty much forgotten about for the past five years. But then we caught a glimpse of Elizabeth Olsen, the girls' 21-year-old sister, who's gone from stage actress to indie flick darling to the girl every man at Sundance is falling in love with in a few short years.
So where has she been all this time? And who exactly is this Elizabeth Olsen? We did some cyber stalking to find out. Looking at Elizabeth's résumé tells us that she has a few acting credits from the mid '90s, which of course include cameos in her sisters' detective series, an array of theater work and three films slated to come out between now and 2012. In one of the films, "Silent House," Elizabeth’s character spends the summer living in a haunted house and in the other, "Martha Marcy May Marlene," she's readjusting to life after escaping from a cult. Brutal mind trips to say the least.
Elizabeth has manged to stay off our radar for so long because she's made a point of avoiding the infamous child actor label, along with the tabloids and their paparazzi. "I never wanted to be a child actor. I never wanted to be a brand. I want to be an actor. I feel good in my own skin. I just want to make movies and do theater," she told MTV.
We're glad to hear that Elizabeth finally feels good in that skin of hers, because we, too, like female skin. Here's a video of Elizabeth followed by a bunch of pictures below. Try not to fall in love.
