
The 1940s were such a simple time. Milk bottles were glass, toys didn't require batteries and the photos above were actually titillating. At least they would have been had they come out in the '40s. These shots are actually promos for VH1's "The USO Presents: VH1 Divas Salute the Troops." It's a concert for soldiers and it includes the kind of ladies that soldiers would like to look at, including Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj and Hayley Williams of Paramore. To hype the concert, VH1 put out these pinup-style photos that make us long for the days when catching a glimpse of a lady's shoulder had the same effect of snorting Viagra. Can you imagine what would happen if Betty Grable slipped a nip on the set of "Tin Pan Alley"? Probably would have made FDR start walking again.
Anway, it's not the '40s anymore, which means these photos are actually really tame. But they're still sexy. At least your grandpa would think so.
